With help of Informatica tooling, open source tooling, and self-build tools, we safeguard the quality of the data for the entire bank, and provide solutions to all business lines. The possibilities are vast. Building software is great, but creating value out of 7 petabyes of data is better! While this means we value our top notch quality standard, you’ll be surprised by the informal atmosphere in which we do this.

For this particular vacancy, we are looking for Full Stack developers to help us design, develop and maintain our data applications. To speed up and strengthen the digital transformation we are searching for the best development engineers to join us. With joining us we mean that you help us; Design, implement and support our IT-applications; Create tooling for visualizing and maintaining architecture and data models; Create (open source) tooling for semantic data modeling; Interact with the whole organization, from business lines to other development blocks & grids; Innovate, experiment and help with setting up new technologies and structure and organize our code in a way that makes it sustainable and easy to change.

You work together with other Development Engineers in small Agile teams (4-6 persons) within a DevOps culture. The atmosphere is informal, and we are ok with making mistakes provided everyone is open about it and learns from them.

The teams are in constant collaboration with all business lines, international branches and subsidiaries of the bank where we all work together at the frontier of a major digital revolution and with the core value-assets of the organization.

Examples of the things you could work on:

• Create interactive data visualizations using innovative and new technologies.
• Create applications for to link data to the architecture models and use that to create a strategic canvas.
• Create open source tool for semantic data models, with advanced functionalities like generating semantics from text.
• Experiment with new technologies such as artificial intelligence

Required skills

• You have solid working experience with modern front-end frameworks and libraries like Angular, Vue.js, Neo4J, React, D3js.
• And/or you have solid working experience in modern back-end frameworks, languages and databases like Java, node.js, express.js, mongoDB, SQL, docker.
• You are familiar with the latest Open Source developments in your area of expertise.
• You are able to not only suggest and design solutions, but you are also able to put them into practice immediately by developing them yourself.
• Eagerness to design and create innovative and sustainable solutions.
• You have proven knowledge of the latest data technologies and know how to turn this knowledge into valuable delivery.
• You think from a user perspective and understand that ease-of-use is key.
• You learn fast and are eager to understand the content behind the things you develop (a general understanding of Data or Business Architecture).
• You are interested in new IT developments and keep yourself up to date on them.
• An education in Computer Science, Information Science, Econometrics, Mathematics or Computer Science related fields.
• You have an EU residence permit.
