Analytics Partnership consultant within the CInO FinTech & Analytics team

Your work environment
You will be working in the Global FinTech team - which is part of the Chief Innovation Office - in close cooperation with global business lines, Analytics Centres Expertise (CoE) and local units. As an Analytics Partnership Consultant you will actively contribute to the realization of the vision and strategy of ING by accelerating the adoption of FinTech / BigTech, Analytics & AI throughout the organization and deliver rapid and tangible P&L impact.

The complexity of the role origins from the continuous interactions and alignment between internal stakeholders and external Fintechs. To be successful in this role, you need to be able to understand the business rationale, persuade stakeholders, have a love for (analytics-driven) technology and a great personality.

Your role
As an Analytics Partnership Consultant, you will focus on particular value spaces (e.g. Customer Interactions, Intelligent Operations, Shopping, Housing, RegTech, etc…) through the analytics lens. You will work alongside the Global Analytics Unit and experienced Fintech consultants who are domain experts in these value spaces. This means getting a detailed understanding of the pain points and opportunities of these areas by engaging with stakeholders, scouting (Fin / Big) techs to capture these opportunities, preparing demo sessions and advice in the selection process.

Furthermore, your responsibilities are to:

• Collect the prioritized use cases from all Centres Expertise (CoEs) as well as from the AI Platform (AI for AI) and WAA
• Map relevant AI stakeholders to use case
• Collect and maintain all relevant AI partnerships/capabilities coming from FinTech, BigTech, "regular" vendors as well as own developments for WAA and CoEs
• Understand the overall AI architecture and Buy vs Build strategy to assess when to follow the partner route for a given use case
• Attend the major AI events to identify trends and generate market-driven partners candidates
• Be the first assessment layer when an interesting AI vendor comes from the market to filter in before reaching out to CoE lead
• Assist the Businesses when implementing Analytics Proof of Concept and administering using the defined partnership framework
• Collect and help set up and report quantitative KPIs for all AI / Analytics partnerships
• Ensure FinTech and Ventures team has the relevant Analytics skillset

Your profile
You are a committed, business-driven and results-oriented. You act as a trusted advisor of the different ING departments and the FinTech / BigTech ecosystems, and you are known in the field of Analytics and AI.

Check your profile:

• master degree
• 3-7 years of relevant work experience in an international setting
• shown interest/experience in innovation, analytics and technology
• knowledge of ING business is a plus
• excellent stakeholder management skills
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• willing to travel abroad
   

Additionally you:

• are able to work both independently and as a team member
• experience in business/technology consulting is a plus
• need to be able to manage your own work and set your own priorities
• are proactive, resourceful and willing to go the extra mile
• have exceptional follow-through skills and attention to detail
• have excellent networking skills
• have a well-developed cultural sensitivity in order to work in a highly diverse environment

What we offer
- We offer a full-time contract (40-hour workweek)

- Job scale for this role is 11 or 12 depending on the skills and experience
- A highly professional work location is Amsterdam Zuid Oost, Treasury building and there might be travelling required
