Data Engineer - Regulatory in Amsterdam

Beschrijving

At ING Wholesale Banking FMGT we are responsible for regulatory reporting of OTC derivatives to our regulators for regulations like EMIR / MAS / HKMA. Data is interfaced from several systems within FM and is merged and enriched to be send to a central GTR (Global Trade Repository).

The BizDevOps squads responsibility is to report trade information in a timely and accurate way. Squad works with SCRUM in 2 week sprints including daily stand-ups, refinements, demo’s and retrospectives.

Data engineers work will mainly be improving the data quality being reported to different regulations including changing the GRS (Global Reporting Solutions) system to comply with all regulation changes, help automate manual tasks, create reports and GUI screens for users, build reconciliations and design and implement technical solutions.

Must have - Technical

  • Experience in Oracle Database 12c development (PL/SQL / SQL)
  • Experience in Python including popular libraries
  • Experience in Web development (Javascript / HTML / AJAX / JSON)
  • Experience in Java

Must have - Functional

  • Regulatory knowledge (EMIR/MAS/HKMA/CANADA)
  • Financial Market products knowledge
  • OTC Products: Commodities / Equities / Credits / FX / Rates
  • Processing of DealCapture / Valuations / UTI’s / Collateral / Confirmation / Clearing
  • Static data knowledge (grid/agreements/fsd)
  • Delivering Source Systems knowledge (Summit, Murex, Sophis
  • Global Trade Repository knowledge (like analyzing requirements coming from Dtcc)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of the SVN
  • Knowledge Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of XML
  • Knowledge of (S)FTP
  • Knowledge of security / IT risk
