ING Group Service is looking for a feature engineer who supports tribes / squads in their IT delivery to generate customer value based on weighted interests, by translating epics into coherent features in realizable roadmaps and coordinating the deployment of integrated IT solutions.

The Global Processing Center (GPC) of ING Finance is processing every night all commercial banking transactions for accounting and reporting purposes. The applications used for this are based on Oracle technology (PL/SQL, Forms, APEX 18.1, DB 12.1) on RHEL servers. We are migrating to new technology that is more loosely coupled and with better fit in our CD/CI pipeline. Other technologies for replacing the Forms/Apex GUI’s is considered.

As Feature Engineer you will support squads cross tribe in a complex Finance Accounting and Data Warehouse environment, which is migrating in the coming two years to a private cloud architecture. Security, Life Cycle Management (LCM) and automation based on CD/CI are important topics.

Your responsibilities are:

• Translate epics into coherent features, support squads to refine features to the desired level of technical detail clarifying its technical usage and inter-dependencies with other features

• Challenge and advise Product Owners on Feature dependencies and priorities

• Coordinate the deployment of integrated IT solutions for complex LCM migrations to ING Private Cloud

Relevant experience regarding the following skills:

• Experience in refining and designing features, at least 5 year technical design knowledge
• In depth IT application and feature knowledge
• Proven experience and competent in IT area’s Banking or Financial industry, preferably experience in Oracle technology, complex LCM migrations 
• You’ve got experience with the agile way of working
• You can prove that you are constantly improving your IT knowledge
