The role of Business Analyst
As Business Analyst you play a crucial role delivering Business-2-Consumer multi-disciplinary projects.
It is your responsibility to support our internal B2C customers with defining the required functional and non-functional requirements to the needs of our external B2C customers
As Business Analyst you create an initial Solution Direction supported by an impact analysis that is best-fit within the agreed timelines and with excellent quality based on the predefined scope of an initiative or project. This all needs to be in alignment with long-term architecture and design guidelines and operational and quality guidelines where interaction with both Fixed and Mobile Network departments is key to make sure the technical B2C roadmap is aligned.
As Business Analyst you proactively hand-over the project to the assigned Designer which is responsible for the Solution Design
As Business Analyst you build and support your internal network of stakeholders relevant for your role.

Summarizing, you

• Are accountable for delivering a proper scoped project with agreed use cases and clarified companywide requirements in alignment with long-term architecture and design guidelines.
• Are accountable for providing project cost estimates to the business and scope the initial solution to these costs.
• Align constantly with stakeholders on our wide range of technical solutions that are tailored to the needs of our B2C customers.

Your experience
You have strong analytical skills combined with excellent social skills. Like no one you are able to have in depth conversations with our internal customers to define te required requirements and provide and accurate impact analysis of these requirements.
You are strong and confident and if the requirements are not realistic, you are able push back on these requirements.
You can interact and align with various stakeholders on various levels.

Your Key assets

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, 3+ year experience in a similar Business Analysis role with experience in the in Telecoms industry being a pre.
• Knowledge of IT, Fixed/Mobile architecture, (business) processes and Telecoms operations
• Customer focused
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Skills to gather and formulate SMART requirements in a complex corporate organization
• Requirements management experience
• Understanding of the eTOM, Frameworx, TOGAF, UML and BPMN frameworks
• Understanding of Agile and waterfall work principles
• Mandatory; Excellent Dutch and English (written and spoken)

About this Position
This role is reporting into the Manager Business Analysis & Design B2C, whom you’ll advise regularly.
The B2C Business Analysis community is full of energy, ambition and team spirit working on maximum satisfaction of our internal customers. We are proud of wat we achieve and whom we achieve this with. Our Business Analysis team consists of approximately of 7 experienced and motivated IT professionals.
Primary counterparts include amongst others Product Managers, Program/Project Managers, Demand Managers, Designers, Process Designers, Domain architects, Test Managers and both internal and external development parties.

Your location is Maastricht, but frequent travelling to other offices in Utrecht, Amsterdam or Eindhoven is necessary.
