IT Engineer - Security in Amsterdam

In an innovative and constantly changing and challenging environment ING’s CoreBank is looking for an IT Security Engineer with primary focus on building security knowledge and facilitating system resilience in a digital world.

Job description

·         The proposed objective is to learn about identifying cyber security threats, Risks, Security gaps.

 ·         Perform security reviews and translate findings into trainings with focus on prevention.

 ·         Improving  knowledge to identify security incidents, investigate, solve and prevent threats.

 ·         Investigate emerging technologies to help ING innovate and grow in an ever-evolving world.

 ·         Capable of doing Design Reviews for application teams or do threat modelling.

 ·         Promote and facilitate trainings, CTF events/workshops in order to improve Corebank and ING in general.

Profile

·         Have an up-to-date knowledge and expertise about IT Security, preferably experience within ING.

·         Have good communications skills, to explain in a simple and clear way

·         Able to think out-of-the-box and have an innovative change-oriented attitude

·         Have co-creation skills and ability to explain the OWASP ASVS into management language

·         In possession of relevant security Certifications i.e. (ISO27001, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, GICSP & OSCP)

.         Engineering background; creating code and verifying code, using for example Java , Python or Linux.
