Feature Engineer

You will coordinate technological changes and transformations on a global scale across tribes, domains and countries in the infrastructure domain. You have affinity with technology, good knowledge about general IT infrastructure and public/private cloud concepts.

You know how technology impacts the business, how to articulate it and how to provide the technological input for roadmaps. Where required, you are able to deep-dive into technology in case of underdeveloped areas or in case of questions. You will work in interdisciplinary teams to solve the open questions and achieve success.

Feature Engineers have diverse backgrounds such as Solution Architects, Technical Project Leads, Integrators, etc. We are looking for affinity with and background in IT technology, strong communication skills, cultural/organization sensitivity, eagerness to deep-dive into technology and a long term drive for success. 

Your more than 5 years of experience enables you to put technological changes into perspective and are comfortable with  business prioritization processes and appetite for change in a global agile company that adheres to local and global banking/finance regulations.

As member of the Infrastructure  Enterprise Architecture and Feature Engineering department you will promote architectural standards, provide feedback on the impact of standards and lead the implementation of these standards.

What you will bring:

- Deep interest in IT technology

- Understand cloud delivery models

- DevOps/Agile way of working (some coding experience is appreciated)

- Road-mapping and dependency management skills

- At least 5-10 years of relevant work experience in an international setting

- (Post Covid) short business travel.

- Consultative experience (experience within a consultancy firm is a plus)

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English (C1)

- Other languages (Dutch/German/French/etc.) would be a plus.

- are able to work both independent and as a team member

- need to be able to manage your own work and set your own priorities

- have a strong but respectful personality

- understanding of industry best practices

- have exceptional follow through skills and attention to detail

- have excellent networking skills in an international setting

- have a well-developed cultural sensitivity in order to work in a highly diverse environment
