ING Analytics is a unit responsible for realizing this vision for ING, differentiating ING as a leader in data-driven organization, within the banking sector and beyond. The team consists of a number of global Analytics Center of Excellences around the bank’s key capabilities (such as Pricing, Risk Management, Financial Crime, Customer Interactions, etc.) as well as strong coordination areas around data management, technology, customer journey, and external partnerships.

Data Governance and Protection Expert job purpose
We drive ING's transformation to become a data driven digital leader, creating measurable value for ING and its customers through world class analytics products and services.
Purpose of the job is to develop and enhance data governance and protection standards, adoption requirements and provide implementation support and advice to others to ensure the appropriate application of these standards and requirements.
Role Profile
As Data Governance and Protection Expert you report to the Head of Enabling Analytics at ING Analytics. Your responsibilities include:
Align with and support stakeholders on:
process, procedure, and way of work regarding use of data exploration and model exploitation;
use case for Model and Data availability for exploration and exploitation.
Support the verification and validation of solutions by testing change deliverables and guiding users / clients in the acceptance of them;
Supporting the Data Liberation Squad by activating squad members to achieve the required level of service delivery as soon as possible (training and instruction) and start servicing stakeholders;
Support the WB, KFC, Operations Tribes (& Programs) in their data demand. Main goal is to assist these stakeholders with their use cases needed for Analytics purposes and guide them through the Governance procedures (on Data exchange/Usage & Model creation);
Alignment with CDMO on Data Ingestion Plan & Data availability, Workshops, knowledge exchange, demo’s, Data Kiosk & other specific regular alignment sessions;
Alignment with ING Tech BTP/ DAP (Data Asset Squad & Data Liberation squad) on WoW facilitating and governing data for Analytics
Collaborate with the NFR team in Enabling Analytics on data management related topics;
Leading and building craftmanship on data governance (e.g. data stewardship, data quality, data exchange etc.);
Ensure ad-interim and structural data availability for Analytics (Including prioritized delivery):
Mirroring EDL data to DAP
Mirroring (L)DL data to DAP
Agreement on architectural principles & governance model, Sign off on separating availability from accessibility

Education: Master's degree in technical or business field (Data management, GDPR and likewise)
Experience:
5 - 7 years experience in the aforementioned subject areas
Solid background in data management life cycle and end-to-end management
Proven working experience with the Agile Way of Working
Skills:
Strong communication skills with ability to interact, influence and persuade a broad set of (senior) stakeholders
Cultural and organizational sensitivity developed through prior experiences
Competencies:
Demonstrated track record of getting things done in a complex environment
You have a pro-active and can-do attitude (self-steering)
You are comfortable in building relationships in and outside of ING Analytics
Willingness to learn: open to feedback, develops on the technical and the interpersonal level
Always thinking a step ahead and never satisfied with the status quo
