IT Infrastructure Engineer in Amsterdam

Guerrilla is currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our IT Support Team.

What you will do

You will take a lead role in the planning, design and operation of Guerrilla’s IT infrastructure;
You will work in an innovative, highly dynamic game development environment, constantly pushing the limits the latest hard- and software;
Together with the IT director you will constantly re-design the core infrastructure, anticipating future demands from the development team.

Who you are

You have experience running a corporate network infrastructure and you know the OSI network layers by heart;
You feel comfortable designing and configuring SAN and NAS;
You run virtual machines for a living;
You possess expert problem solving skills that allow you to identify any problem, even in situations where you lack specific experience;
You have good knowledge of security relating to IT infrastructure.

Plusses

You are able to breakdown raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in turn clearly identify the issues at hand;
You can make logical conclusions, anticipate obstacles and consider different approaches that are relevant to the decision making process;
You know how to implement Brocade SAN fabrics;
You have experience with virtualization (VMWARE);
You can express technical and business concepts, ideas, feelings, opinions and conclusions to a technical and non-technical audience;
You have solid scripting skills (e.g. shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python);
Unix/Linus based environments hold no secrets for you;
You have experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Nagios).
