Bol.com is growing quickly. This growth can be measured by the rapidly increasing number of orders we ship. In order to keep pace with this growth, we’re opening a modern fulfillment center in Waalwijk in July. The brain of this warehouse will be a Hardis warehouse management system (Reflex) that will be designed and implemented in the upcoming months. This WMS is incredibly powerful, but it is essential that we tailor it to bol.com’s specific business requirements, so that our employees and, more importantly, our 7 million customers continue to be catered to flawlessly. We already have people in place who can translate our business requirements, but we’re still missing a crucial piece of the puzzle; a tester. As a Senior Test Engineer this is your opportunity to test the new warehouse management system during its development stage. A rewarding prospect for a Test Engineer who combines a passion for testing with consultancy qualities and a healthy drive to innovate. During the implementation phase, there will be Hardis staff on premises to get you up to speed on Reflex. You and your team will be responsible for unlocking the potential of this system and translating it into a solution that fits our business perfectly. By formulating an intelligent test strategy that will ruthlessly disclose whether the new platform meets our exacting expectations. You will have to deconstruct and analyze business requirements at the process level in order to make and craft solid test plans. You’ll conduct tests and provide proactive counsel on opportunities and weaknesses. How can we solve bottlenecks? How can we ensure scalability? You’ll also take the lead in automating checks. Important, because short development cycles and deploying to production often are crucial. It’s all about your vision on the test process including functional testing, performance testing and automated checks.

As a Senior Test Engineer you operate within the multidisciplinary project team that conceptualizes and implements our WMS. The individual team members may change over time, but the team will always include Hardis specialists, internal WMS professionals, and representatives from the business units.
