As CoE Consultant you are connecting IT and organization on their way to Continuous Delivery (CD). As an internal consultant you give all delivery teams advice on new techniques and methods and support them in improving the CD processes (release-, test- en deployment management).

• You are the expert on CD within ABN AMRO;
• You initiate and support improvements in CD based on interna land external developments and trends.
• You advise delivery (scrum) teams in how to implement CD;
• You are responsible for the roll-out of (new) CD tooling (XL Release and XL Deploy) and advise teams in how to use the tools;
• You organize activities to increase and improve the CD community: e.g. by setting up superuser groups, giving presentations, organizing workshops, etc;
• You are a stakeholder (on behalf of users of CD Tooling) for the CD scrum team and are closely involved in further development of CD pipelines;
• You maintain all userdocumentation of XL Release and XL Deploy;
• You deliver clear requirements (and acceptance criteria) for changes / new features of CD tooling and perform acceptance testsd;
• You work closely together with other CoE consultants (e.g. test consultant and CI/CD coaches).

You work for the COE Test & Release Management part of Connectivity & Technology. C&T enables the IT teams in their journey towards DevOps, Agile and CICD. It is an energetic environment in a continuously changing world!

It’s your passion to translate technical and organizational cases of CD into concrete and understandable solutions for our IT organization. You focus on the needs of the client and look for improvement opportunities en give support in implementing the changes. You are pro-active, looking for close cooperation with colleagues, like to solve problems, know how to convince people and how to deal with resistance.  

Your profile:

• You have good consultancy and communication skills;
• You like to give presentations and workshops;
• You have at least a Bachelor degree in business or IT and minimum of 3 years of IT experience;
• You have sufficient knowlegde of IT processes and experience in managing changes throughout the organization;
• You have knowledge of Release Management and/or Application Deployment Management;
• You have affinity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery;
• Any knowledge and experience of XL Tooling of Xebia Labs is an advantage.
