- MSc degree with working experience or PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, etc.)
- Prior experience with a range of NLP techniques, including text processing for multiple languages, tokenization, classification, POS-tagging, named entity recognition, parsing, annotation, regular expressions, language modeling, information extraction.
- Experience with large natural language corpora.
- Solid background in statistical learning techniques for NLP such as CRF, SVM, LDA, etc.
- Excellent English communication skills; the ability to convey your message to team members and other stakeholders
Preferred
- Prior experience with deep learning approaches to NLP, i.e. word embeddings, convolutional or recurrent networks.
- Prior experience with machine translation.
- Hands-on experience with the Hadoop Ecosystem
