Working as part of the copywriter community within IT, you’ll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, including the creation of Lingo stories, transferring copy tags between affiliates, handling language bugs, updating tag variables, creating and maintaining translation lists and more.
This role requires an enthusiastic attitude and the ability to focus on a number of tasks simultaneously. Deep understanding of Lingo is essential, but full training will be provided for the other copywriting tools required for the position. The ideal candidate will possess excellent prioritisation skills and an extremely adaptable communication style.
B.Responsible
- Creation of clear Lingo requests, using copy written by other copywriters
- Take responsibility for language bugs and copy change requests
- Use our duplication tool to move tags between affiliates or change tag names if required
- Complete tasks assigned by copywriters to allow for a higher velocity of copy experimentation
- Conduct research projects on behalf of the copywriter team and the IT department in general
- Prioritise workload based on business needs and impact
- Take end-to-end ownership when creating high quality, technically correct and contextually relevant translations requests
B.Skilled
- Self-starter, open to identifying and pursuing opportunities to grow in their area
- Excellent communication skills and an impeccable eye for detail
- At least one year of experience working with Lingo (experience of other copy tools is a bonus, but not required)
- Positive working relationships with the copywriter team
- Fluency in English, and at least one other language (not essential to speak another language)
- The ability to take on unusual or challenging tasks with a positive attitude
- End to end ownership of their core responsibilities
- Ability to proactively approach and define tasks, work well independently and in a team
