The job

Infrastructure is the foundation to host the apps our business develops. We want to deliver top notch infrastructure that is elastic, scalable and resilient. So we might need you! You are an energetic Dev Engineer with a passion for IT Infrastructure and positive can-do mind-set. You are a team player working as a core member of a multidisciplinary and cross-functional squad with end-to-end responsibility for selected infrastructure services. Close collaboration within and across the squads and with the consumer is of utmost importance for you.

You have a broad and diverse set of competencies that allow you to design, develop, test, deliver and maintain standardized and highly automated infrastructure services. You continuously strive to improve yourself and your colleagues in the DevOps way of working.

What will you do?

We deliver standard, self-service infrastructure services to our consumers. Your job is to facilitate these services and therefor to create API’s so that our infrastructure is consumable for other squads within our department.

• Deliver a consumable infrastructure service to squads within ING Tech
• Apply continuous integration and delivery practices
• Apply and improve DevOps way of working
• Manage software and hardware at scale

You have an extensive understanding of the full stack, tooling ecosystem and the consumer requirements. With your expertise in multiple coding/ scripting languages and tooling, you contribute to the squad’s mission of developing high-quality consumable services

Your education and background

• Professional and intellectual IT ability at university level - at least Bachelor's degree
• Experience from working in high performing Agile IT teams
• Track record of developing or the strong will to invest in learning VMware Realize Orchestrator
• Certifications and/or proven proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages
• Excellent command of spoken and written Dutch and English
