Scrum Master - Data Quality Grid - Amsterdam

You are a facilitating and enthusiastic Scrum hero, who works in one or more teams, also referred to as blocks. You keep your eyes on the boundaries in which your teams operate, and do anything and everything to maximize their output. In doing so, no organizational boundary will stop you! You have a drive to do better every day, and manage to infect others with this drive as well. As a scrum master, you try to shield the team from distractions, and ensure that sprints are concluded successfully. Aside from that, you have a coaching role towards your teams internal knowledge building, and stimulate the process of multiskilling. You love to collaborate with others, and occasionally act as the right hand of the Engineering Lead of the Data Quality grid. While doing all this, you enjoy receiving a lot of trust, responsibility and freedom in executing your role. Aside from your day to day work, you actively participate in teaching the organization to further grow the agile mind-set.

You work together with Development Engineers in small Agile teams (4-6 persons) within a DevOps culture. The whole team works on the same location. Here, you will focus on development with the latest technologies such as Data Quality Solutions (IDQ), ETL Tooling (PowerCenter), Master Data Management Solutions (Informatica MDM) and more. The atmosphere is informal, and we are ok with making mistakes provided everyone is open about it and learns from them.The teams are in constant collaboration with all business lines, international branches and subsidiaries of the bank where we all work together at the frontier of a major digital revolution and with the core value-assets of the organization.

• You have experience in setting up and growing teams and teaching them how to properly organize their work using Scrum. Ideally, you have references which show you’ve done this several times.
• You have experience with group dynamics and are able to adjust your style based on what the group needs
• You enjoy working in a complex organization and understand that this complexity can bring challenges.
• You are not a walking scrum guide, but someone who is capable of putting the theory into practice and you understand that Rome is not built in one day.
• You are able to create a safe environment of trust and respect, as this is something we value greatly in the Data Quality Grid.
• You have an entrepreneurial and explorative mindset.
• Fluent in English and/or Dutch
• A general understanding of Data is a nice bonus.
