IT Engineering Lead - Amsterdam

As an Engineering Lead within ABN AMRO Clearing you play a crucial role in moving our business forward by ensuring the complete software development lifecycle. You have responsibility for adherence and the design of the underlying software architecture and will lead approximately 60 IT engineers within an agile grid. You will coach and mentor both your reports as well as others. You create an IT vision that complements the overall vison, create a culture attuned to the needs of the grid  as well as insuring continuous improvement, development and modernisation of our landscape.

You work in a dynamic and international environment, which operates in the heart of the global financial markets. Our customers are located all over the world, as well as our users. You work in our Head Quarters in Amsterdam, where our IT teams and business are co-located.

You have a unique combination of senior management experience with a passion for technology, and have a strong interest to work in the global capital markets. Your technology is up-to-date, so CI/CD, Cloud and Micro-services are nothing new to you. At the same time, you realise that our systems need to be up and running, the markets, our customers and our users depend on us.
