Scrum master in Den Haag

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Building a high-performing team by applying a servant leadership style and leading by example
• Guiding and coaching the team on how to get the most out of self-organization and how to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Serve as Scrum Master on highly visible and projects and strategic initiatives in support of the company Corporate strategies specific to Change and IT
• Serving and supporting the Product Owner and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to delight customers
• Guiding and coaching the team on how to get the most out of self-organization and how to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
• Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
• Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments which may involve working with other teams, experts or leaders
• Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving
• Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
• Protecting the team from uncontrolled expansion of work by communicating effectively with key stakeholders, including management
• Facilitating planning discussion, work estimation, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Coordinating with other teams and via Scrum of Scrums to pass information bi-directionally facilitating inter-team dialog opportunities to remove impediments
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency and radiating information
• Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining (aka grooming) and managing the product backlog in support of sprint planning
