ING Wholesale Banking Tech – WB Tech -  (Tribe ‘CS, Data Management, Cross-Product Tooling & KYC’) is looking for a senior PEGA Engineer.

About CS, Data Management, Cross-Product Tooling & KYC’

The Wholesale Banking (WB) Tribe ‘CS, Data Management, Cross Product Tooling & KYC’ supplies products and services that are cross-Tribe and are used by large parts of WB and sometimes the entire bank. The WB Tech Integration department delivers integration and workflow solutions across WB. We are accelerating our journey towards PEGA to deliver quicker and more business value towards our clients. We do that by setting up new workflows in PEGA for our business partners and migrating existing flows from other tooling into PEGA to standardize.

You are an energetic IT Engineer with a passion for IT and a positive can-do mind-set. You are a team player working as a core member of a multidisciplinary, distributed and cross-functional squad: a self-managing, autonomous unit with end-to-end responsibility for a customer journey whom primary driver is the customer perspective. You will be involved in the whole development lifecycle, from refining user stories until monitoring software in production. Close collaboration within and across the squads and with the consumer is of utmost importance for you.

Desired skills and experience as an IT Engineer

You are a certified PEGA SSA with several years’ experience with PEGA. You like to perform a variety of tasks in the squad: design, build, test, document en deploy the application. We are looking for passionate IT specialists who love to create high quality PEGA systems.

As an Engineer you have

• Deliver on promises while keeping good communication lines with clients and partners
• “Can do” mentality, flexibility and ability to take ownership
• A collaborative approach to solving problems while bringing positive energy to the team
• Ability to give and receive professional feedback 
• Proven track record in this role, preferably in an international environment
• Good knowledge of used tools and developments of PEGA
• Strong fundamentals in software design, development and IT Risk
• Willingness and ability to automate to the bone and master new technologies is a must-have
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Experienced in Scrum and Agile
• Able to work under pressure, no 9-5 mentality
• Great English communication skills, verbal as well as written
