Your Typical day includes:
- Working together with the Product Owner and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain data models enabling analytics and reporting across the company;
- Working with Azure applications and services including SQL database, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Analysis Services and Databricks with focus on performance, reliability and scalability;
- Identifying, validating and ingesting new data sources;
- Adopting a cloud-native architecture approach when designing and developing data pipelines;
- Developing robust data models to support interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting/analytics tools;
- Making decisions regarding the right tools and technology stack to grow and develop a cloud-based data platform.
This job might be for you if you have:
- 3+ years of experience working in data platform projects;
- Experience creating data models supporting complex reports and dashboards for different business functions using Power BI and other reporting tools;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure data platform components;
- Experience of defining an optimal data-warehouse infrastructure;
- Experience of designing and developing adaptive ETL/ELT processes;
- Solid experience creating complex transformations using T-SQL and DAX;
- Desire to learn and work with new and emerging cloud technologies and frameworks;
- You like to have fun with your team and enjoy shipping products that impact the strategic direction of the company!
Your success will be measured by:
- You successfully delivered end-to-end solutions including building the data pipeline and developing the data model to support interactive dashboards and analytics use cases across the organization;
- You are in control of the data flows, including design, development, testing, release and monitoring;
- Collaborate closely with the Advanced Analytics team, and other business stakeholders, to provide solutions tailored to their needs;
- You are prototyping and validating the adoption of new tools, together with the Product Owner and stakeholders;
- You have a continuous learning mindset, including actions from your development plan in your daily activities.
