The scrum master is the Agile conscience of our teams and plays a key role within the teams striving for continuous improving the effectiveness in building our solutions. A scrum master not just knows the theory of Agility but also has the skill to implement changes that stick because they fit the team and Moneyou community. The role requires good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency. As scrum master you need to remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments and building a trusting and safe environment.

We need you as a Scrum Master to help us grow and mature as a customer centric agile company that continuously delivers business value. The Scrum Master facilitates, enthusiasms and coaches multiple teams. Where and if necessary through personal coaching. You fulfill the duties of the Scrum Master and see to it that the teams become more self-steering and autonomous each sprint. The professional and technical standard is high. Our teams consist of frontend (IOS and Android), AWS and backend, fullstack .net, HTML / CSS, Salesforce developers and testers.
Your collaboration with the Product Owner is essential to the success of the team and you’ll have to make sure the teams optimize constantly. This includes challenging the team in finding the true MVP instead of building it too big. And help the teams pivot when needed. You actively participate in the cross team collaboration that jointly align their deliverables.
We work in 7 – 10 Scrum Teams that build our new bank, located in Amsterdam. The bank has little legacy-systems and if needed we seek state of the art IT solutions for the challenges we face. We aim to simplify the life of our customers. The drive to come up with the best solution to serve that goal is seen everywhere within Moneyou.
You are a Scrum Master with a structured approach. You know Agile practices and you challenge the team to their adherence on scrum way of working towards an autonomous, self-organizing team. You have relevant experience in retail banking and are a strong team player. You are creative, can inspire others to be likewise and have a sense of humor. You have a track record as a successful Scrum Master. You build bridges and bring people together, enabling them to perform optimally. You are experienced in servant leadership to a team. Your passion lies in Agility and team optimisation. You are creative and can inspire others to be likewise. You have a track record in successful changes in teams. You build bridges and bring people together, enabling them to perform optimally.
• At least 3 years’ experience working as a Scrum Master
• PSM I or II certified
• Experience with IT development (processes)
• Mastery of the Scrum Framework but also strong knowledge of several others agile methods, frameworks and concepts
(e.g. Scrum, XP, Lean Software Development, Kanban, LeSS, SAFe).
• Strong coaching, moderation, workshop facilitation and presentation skills
• Experienced Jira user
• Mastery of English good in both speaking and writing.
