Product Owner Advanced Analytics - Amsterdam

At ABN AMRO we are seeking a dynamic Product Owner for our Advanced Analytics team within the Chief Architect and Data Management department of Innovation and Technology. In this hands on role, you will drive strategy and execution of various machine learning/AI use cases, building the core product capability roadmap. This role also includes AI/Big Data platform feature development within ABN AMRO’s Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure.

As the Product Owner Advanced Analytics you will be tasked with building enabling capabilities that drive the banks strategy (Banking for Better for Generations to Come, Supporting the Sustainability Shift, Reinventing Customer Experience) through advanced analytics. Building  capabilities within the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform that deliver prescriptive and predictive machine learning capabilities for the business lines across ABN AMRO.The Product Owner has full responsability for setting the vision and strategy for the Advanced Analytics products. They prioritise and manage the back log of 3 enabling teams, giving the teams guidance and creating transparency. 

ABN AMRO works using the agile principle and as such, you will manage 3 scrum teams. You will manae the backlog and prioritisation of these teams.Our stakeholders are key to our success, to ensure we deliver the key advanced analytics capabilities that they need, therefore stakeholder management is vital.We work in a fast paced and exciting environment where data technologies are changing rapidly and it is our job to understand the changes and challenges that lie ahead both from a bankwide and industry perspective

The Skills & Expertise You Have

• Expertise in driving platform strategies and roadmaps for product engineering, platforms, capability strategy, roadmaps, governance, execution
• Experience in building and managing Cloud based analytical platforms and frameworks
• Advanced knowledge in model evaluation, tuning and performance, operationalization and scalability of scientific techniques and establishing decision strategies. 
• Strong business acumen and a deep strategic mindset.
• Advanced degree in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
• 8+ years of experience in building and leading efforts focused on advanced analytics, model building, data strategy and platform maturity.
