IAM Global Product Owner in Amsterdam

Within ING, the Global IAM department defines effective and efficient authentication and authorization capabilities to ensure controlled access to ING IT assets. The Head of Global IAM reports directly to the groups CISO, who in turn reports directly to the ING COO. The supporting capabilities are delivered by the internal technology department, ING/Tech/BankInfra/IT security. This department is located in Katowice, Poland.

The Global IAM department is seeking an IAM Global Product Owner to support the GPO for Authorization. Over time 2 separate attention areas will be defined which will be managed by the product owners individually.
 

The role of the GPO concentrates on the "WHAT" (functionality) aspects, closely working with product related squad Product Owner(s) ("HOW"-IT) in Katowice. This means that the GPO must have as detailed understanding of the business requirements as well as the customer journeys for IAM.
 

The core responsibility of a Global Product Owner is

(1)    deliver the business requirements and

(2)    deliver an excellent customer experience
 

While guarding the consistency and development of the product value and strategy and the product roadmap.
 

On a day-to-day basis the Global Product Owner:

·         defines new business requirements

·         defines and improves the customer journeys (CJs)

·         based of new requirements and CJ improvements defines epics and user stories for delivery by the squads
·         backlog management and priority setting
·         responsible for the overall service delivery

·         maintains governance manuals and RACI’s that clarify different roles involved

·         chairs user/stakeholder boards

·         controls the quality of the squad deliverables

·         is involved in non-functional requirements: legal, risk, compliance & data aspects
 

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of the IAM processes, controls and audit standards
• In-depth knowledge of the functionality covered by major IAM tools (currently used within ING Group, e.g. Aveksa, Sailpoint, CyberArk a.o.)
• Detailed understanding of different client needs, bridging IT and business
• Good planning, organizing & reporting skills
• Collaborative spirit & excellent communications skills, both verbally and written in English and Dutch

Primary work location will be Amsterdam. Travel will be required for alignment with the technical service provider )to Katowice, Poland) and to other ING locations depending on the needs. An extended CSI screening is part of the onboarding process.
