Support Engineer - ( Windows/SCCM /PowerShell) - Amsterdam

As a Dealingroom Support Engineer, you will support and maintain the Dealingroom environment across the globe, ranging from end user workstations to backend servers. The main focus is analyzing and solving incidents, and work pro-actively to reduce recurrence. Secondly, you will participate in various challenging projects to continuously deliver the best service to our end users. Last but not least, you have affinity with scripting or other development languages.

Job description
The Dealingroom support department is composed of 7 Ops Engineers who deliver high quality IT support to one of the most critical departments in the bank: Financial Markets & Group Treasury. Within the team, we embrace the agile way of working to improve efficiency and to ensure we provide the best service possible to our customers. This opening is based in Amsterdam.

Your work environment

Incident Management

• Incident Management and Problem handling
• Analyze impact and work on the resolution
• Follow up until complete resolution

Software Distribution & IT Security

• Organize & plan patch management
• After care of software distributions
• Follow departmental compliancy status of machine park, in alignment with CCERT
• Cross-border collaboration; align with other teams in other Dealingrooms to provide the best support experience
• Be aware of the latest security standards and help us making the bank more secure

Hardware

• Staging Laptops/Desktops
• Support of KVM systems and/or peripherals
• Basic (mobile) telephony support

Continuous delivery

• Create (Powershell) scripts for various purposes
• Participate in various (migration) projects

Skills required

• An IT degree or similar through experience
• Extensive experience in an IT support function
• Affinity with Financial Markets environments
• MS Office and Windows troubleshooting, ITIL, SCCM, Networking, (Powershell) Scripting, Appsense and understanding Microsoft Group Policies
• Any MS certification is an added value, as well as development languages and ITIL certification
• Excellent oral and written command of Dutch and English
• Team player, stress-resistant and the ability to take initiative
