IT Development Engineer III (979T10) - Amsterdam

The Innovation Centre is an open and lively space in the heart of ABN AMRO where internal and external collaborations thrive. At Group Innovation you will find eager entrepreneurs, Tech Experts, bankers, designers and innovative professionals, all working together to shape the future of ABN AMRO. 

The Technology Lab is the technical heart of Group Innovation. The developers in this team explore new technological developments and experiment with them, to actively contribute to the most promising propositions and business models. At the moment those experiments include the topics: IoT, Robotics and Quantum Technology.

In order to be able to develop our experiments and beta-applications as fast and flexible as possible, we have engineerd our own Cloud environment. As Senior Platform Engineer, it is your responsibility to manage en further develop this Platform.

Next to that, you will support the various Group Innovation teams in onboarding on the Platform and guiding them during their development. You will also educate and coach your colleagues - (junior and medior) Development Engineers- by sharing your technical programming knowledge and competencies with them.

The team consists of young, eager professionals. In Agile teams you research the newest technologies in sprints, researching the newest technologies and building inspiring prototypes. In a 'sandbox', you can experiment with the newest hard- and software.

• You are a knowledgeable representative on technological subjects for the in- and external parties that (will) collaborate with Group Innovation (in the future). 
• You effectively manage and build on your relationships with partners, stakeholders and (team)colleagues.
• You enthusiastically support the team in their technological development. You give constructive and consistent feedback on the execution of activities (according to the applicable guidelines).

Knowledge of agile is preferred.
