Infrastructure Specialist in Enschede

You’ll be part of a team dealing with everything in infrastructure. There are three key areas within our Infrastructure team – Linux, Windows and Networking. And that means you can choose your specialism based on where your skills and passion lie.

Here’s a flavour of the tasks you could take on in this team.

• Design and configuration of existing and new networks
• Server orchestration - e.g. with Puppet, Ansible
• Setting up and managing Active Directory environments across the entire infrastructure on Windows Server
• Improving monitoring on our systems
• Ensuring the current production environments are up and running 24/7
• Rolling out applications across the business (e.g. McAfee Antivirus)
• Working with Data Centers and the Cloud
• Solving infrastructure issues for staff across the company

While our Infrastructure Specialists have different specialisms, one thing they all have in common is good communication skills.

You’ll be dealing with people from various areas of the business, which means informing and explaining things to colleagues who won’t have your level of tech knowledge. We’re counting on you to show patience and an ability to outline things in a clear, straightforward way.

Like we said, it’s about finding the specialism for you. So we don’t expect your skills to cover everything in Infrastructure. But the more things below that you can say ‘yes’ to, the better!

• 3+ years’ experience in Infrastructure roles
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written). Additional languages a bonus
• Experience working with bare metal hardware, including servers and appliances – e.g. Load balancers in the Data Centers
• Ability to assist and work productively with people across the business
• Enjoy working with and helping introduce new technology
• Confident at juggling a diverse range of tasks
• Keen to bring your ideas to the table: sharing and implementing new ideas which fit within our organisation
