Duties and Responsibilities:
- Primary contact for internal Uber support requests
- Supports internal Uber & Slack HelpDesk chat rooms
- Ability to follow through and execute on assigned tasks
- Technical Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
- Printer Setup and Troubleshooting
- Vending Machine Maintenance & upkeep (Site Specific)
- AV Sweeps and VC Room troubleshooting and maintenance
- All AV user cables are in good physical condition and passing signal
- All power cables are in place and correctly powering laptops
- Both Zoom and Eventboard iPads are on the network
- Zoom iPads have the correct video and audio settings
- Mobile Device Management, including:
- Activating/suspending sim cards
- Completing number ports
- Using Airwatch to manage devices
- Support Android and iOs issues
- Network Triaging from Endpoint perspective
- Pinpointing issues within the OSI layer
- Use command line to gather network configuration/endpoint configuration information
- System Access
- Security Compliance for Endpoints - Mac, Windows and Linux compute environments, iOS and Android mobile environments.
- A Source of Technical Knowledge
- Logistics and inventory support for all local offices
- Inventory tracking and management
- Preparing hardware for deployment
- Replenish missing peripherals
- Onboarding administration.
- Prepares new hire hardware for deployment.
- Responsible for maintaining local inventory accuracy and coordinating equipment
- logistics.
- Order, receive, unboxing and organizing deliveries.
- Track and issue hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Examines, designs, and implements new internal procedures to improve their office procedures
- Participate in Office moves and remodels as it pertains to IT
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Experience with incident and request management systems; Jira knowledge is a big plus
- Experience in an Active Directory environment encompassing multiple operating systems; powershell scripting is a big plus
- Experience with network basics, especially from an endpoint perspective
- Ability to work with limited supervision and stay focused while performing repetitive tasks
- Understand basic AV signal flow and have the ability to do basic troubleshooting
Skills
- Ability to deliver outstanding “White Glove” customer service and provide simplified explanations of complex technical issues.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to support others in a team environment while also serving as a single point of tech support
- Ability to work with limited supervision and stay focused while performing repetitive tasks
- Knows how to utilize communication with Leadership to resolve situations if needed
- Ability to work with multi-functional teams and external vendors.
- Ability to work with remote teams and managers globally
- Ability to execute company and team standard processes appropriately and with tact when required
