As Visual Designer your expertise covers the full breadth of the design process from research and brand strategy to through to visual design execution.  

• Conduct competitor and market positioning analysis from a brand perspective
• Define the product/service brand strategy including brand identity, tone of voice, typography, photography, and colour palette
• Develop the visual design framework including brand guidelines, UI style guide and design system
• Deliver detailed visual design assets for all product elements, service touchpoints and marketing material including mobile, web and print

You are sharp, analytical and focused on substance. But your main objective is always to achieve the best result for your clients. To achieve this, you set the bar high for yourself. And you have the necessary skills to achieve this result in collaboration with many stakeholders (in the Netherlands and abroad. As an individual joining our team, we expect that you feel comfortable working in an Agile team, working closely with the client and team members.

Being a Visual Designer:

• You should have a degree in a relevant field (e.g. Art, Graphic Design)
• You are a master of industry standard design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud is required e.g. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Sketch, Invision, and Photoshop
• You have a deep understanding of visual design principles for print, web, and mobile, with a special appreciation for typography
• You have an impressive portfolio demonstrating successful execution of brand and visual design projects
• You have experience in using photography and illustrations (illustration skills are a plus but not required) to support various branded materials, in print and digitally
• You probably have some consulting experience, although this isn’t essential
• You have experience facilitating design workshops, presenting to senior stakeholders and running meetings
• You are comfortable in fast-paced, collaborative environments and can be flexible and adaptable in your approach
• You have excellent communication skills and you’re a natural storyteller – you know how to structure information in a compelling way
