You are indispensable in the projects of your team and our - often - internationally operating clients. As a SAP expert you are able to further expand the Deloitte practice and deliver global tax technology projects.

Tax departments today often face significant resource constraints, requiring an increased focus on efficiency and effective use of technology to streamline their compliance and reporting processes. Overreliance on spreadsheets, outdated technology, and a lack of integration between tax and finance systems can hamper a tax department’s ability to obtain and analyze the data needed for timely and accurate tax compliance and reporting. The combination of large quantities of data and the time and resource constraints they are confronted with has made tax departments opt for a transition towards technology-driven tax processes.

• reviewing our clients ERP systems, covering a wide range of taxes;
• translating tax requirements from the clients’ business into an efficient tax solution design, leveraging the entire spectrum of SAP functions and technologies like SAP FI, MM, SD, Central Finance (CFIN), S/4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud, as well as a whole range of external tax packages;
• involvement during all phases of an Enterprise Tax Integration project (from designing, through building, testing, training and go live);
• preparing business cases, tax technology roadmaps;
• innovating our practice (together with the team), i.e.: knowledge sharing, strategy definition, teaming with our alliances;
• developing and implementing innovative solutions for the “Deloitte ITL Suite” of SAP add-on products, both on-premise as well as in cloud.
  
  You will work in multidisciplinary teams of consultants and tax specialists. Specific knowledge about tax is not a must!

For the position of SAP consultant, you also need to have:

• a bachelor or an university degree;
• a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the SAP domain (SD, MM, FI). Experience with S/4 HANA, CFIN, SAP Analytics Cloud and/or ABAP is a plus;
• an above average interest in understanding the Supply Chains of multinationals and how they are reflected in SAP (both logistically and financially);
• eager to learn and gain experience with the latest SAP solutions and technology platforms, as well as with other third party tax technology solutions like Vertex and Thomas Reuters;
• strong analytical and communication skills;
• excellent command of written and spoken Dutch and English.
