Which is also true, because bol.com has over 100 Scrum teams that collaborate to achieve an amazing digital customer experience.

Is (further) developing our developers. In other words: you continuously lift several Scrum teams (with 8 to 12 colleagues total) to a higher plane. And ‘while you’re at it’, formulate a future-proof vision on development, deployment and – DevOps is our vision! – the software operation itself.

As IT Team Manager Logistics, you inspire your multidisciplinary Scrum teams. You coach a total of 8-12 IT professionals who work on projects that have a quantifiable impact on the internal and external customer experience. You are the missing link (so glad we found you!) between the business units and IT, and help transform business requirements into scalable solutions. Your enthusiasm and clear vision help us attain operational excellence. Your teams are active in the warehousing domain, which ensures that orders are processed quickly and completely.

What is the ideal team composition? What new competencies and tooling do we need to realize our development ambitions? How should we roll out complex projects to maximize business value? And what opportunities do new technologies and/or methodologies present? You streamline the technological building blocks while keeping all of your project plates spinning and constantly evaluating and reporting on progress. Even after a new service goes live, you don’t grab a latte and kick up your feet, because we adhere to the you build it, you run it principle and if there’s a hitch, the business will ask for a solution ASAP.
