Pega Lead system Architect in Amsterdam

What you'll do

• Making sure that the cross-team governance is properly done
• Participating in Inception-phase of new-functionality and build rapid prototypes
• Helping teams/engineers in efficient and future-proof design and creating maintainable implementation of various features
• Defining and implementing the IT strategy and identifying and adopting changes for Business Lending Pega application with regards to innovation, time to market
• Ensuring a safe and compliant bank from an IT perspective
• Creating and ensuring the 'new' culture and one Agile Way of Working
• Acts as an ambassador for culture change and serves as a role model
• Stimulates cross-border interaction between people, squads, areas and chapters
• Implementing the transition from legacy infrastructure platforms to ING target architecture
• Predictable delivery of our software by Squads in your area
• Reliable operation of IT assets where KPIs for Incidents are met and SLAs are lived up to
• Providing technical leadership in your area with an emphasis on Agile customer-centric software development
• Automated testing and continuous delivery
• Being most up to date with Pega’s new features/products and help engineers achieve Pega’s motto ‘software- build for change’
• Collaborating with the offshore teams to ensure that we are able to iterate faster. Primary location for our development are SSI-partners in India

How to succeed

• 10+ years IT experience
• You have a strong technical background in PEGA preferable multiple Global PEGA implementations in the financial domain
• Bachelor’s in computer science or an equivalent field
• You are genuinely interested in and understand business and how our customers use our products
• You are passionate about growing and developing technical talent
• You have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• You have Engineering experience, preferably in creating high scalability mission-critical applications
• You value a multi-cultured environment where English is the working language and you easily get on with people from different cultural backgrounds
• You have excellent analytical skills
• You have excellent problem-solving skills and passion for and the ability to redesigning processes
• You are able to achieve optimum results by empowering teams
