DevOps Engineer 2 - Production Manager O&I in Heerlen

Are you a highly-motivated DevOps Engineer that has hands-on experience in technical environments? Are you eager to work in the area of Asset Management? Do you have relevant education in Computer Science? Then you may be the DevOps Engineer that we are looking for.

The team Production Management specializes in scheduling batch processes using Control-M and is responsible for the batch processing of Asset Management.

As a DevOps Engineer within the Production Management team, you will get involved in all processing aspects of the Asset Management domain. Your main focus will be planning, organizing, executing, troubleshooting and monitoring the batch processing, in accordance with the agreements made.

Activities include:

• Setting up and maintaining planning processing;
• Handling standard customer requests in the field of batch processing;
• Handling incidents production batch processing;
• Adjusting planning processing as a result of Service requests and changes;
• Monitoring and controlling processing, including standby service (24/7);
• Intensive involvement in projects and releases and other changes.

Profile requirements:

• HBO working and thinking level;

• Hands-on experience in technical ICT environments;

• Relevant work experience in ICT and in a similar environment and with various IT systems;

• Extensive knowledge/experience with batch processes and job scheduling (in particular CTRL-M);

• Familiar with making schedules;

• Flexible, decisive and good communication skills (both Dutch and English).
