The goal of Group Services to support the services of the bank that will be offered bank-wide. What you'll do
- Defining and implementing the IT strategy and identifying and adopting changes for One Pega Platform in the market with regards to innovation, time to market
- Ensuring a safe and compliant bank from an IT perspective (IT custodianship)
- Defining and implementing vendor and sourcing strategy
- Creating and ensuring the 'new' culture and one Agile Way of Working
- Acts as an ambassador for culture change and serves as a role model
- Stimulates cross-border interaction between people, squads, areas and chapters and
- Implementing the transition from legacy infrastructure platforms to ING private cloud solution (IPC)
- Predictable delivery of our software by Squads in your area
- Reliable operation of IT assets where KPIs for Incidents are met and SLAs are lived up to
- Providing technical leadership in your area with an emphasis on Agile customer-centric software development
- Responsible for People-oriented management and growth of Chapter leads and technical talent
- Reduction of Infra costs through the move to IPC
- Automated testing and continuous delivery
- Optimizing the off-shore setup to ensure that we are able to iterate faster. Primary location for OPP development are SSI-partners in India
How to succeed
- 12+ years of core Pega platform experience
- You have a strong technical background in PEGA preferable multiple Global PEGA implementations in the financial domain
- Master of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent field
- You are genuinely interested in and understand business and how our customers use our products
- You are passionate about growing and developing technical talent
- You have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- You have experience in line management of teams responsible for high criticality applications
- You have Engineering experience, preferably in creating high scalability mission-critical applications
- You value a multi-cultured environment where English is the working language and you easily get on with people from different cultural backgrounds
- You have excellent analytical skills
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and passion for and the ability to redesigning processes
- You are able to achieve optimum results by empowering teams and giving them responsibility
