ING is looking for a Product Owner in the Global Engineering/Corporate Services domain

Are you the Product Owner we are looking for?

You will be working for TECH Group Services within the global engineering/corporate services domain. Here you are part of an international team of passionate and talented engineers! The platform solution we provide is about workflow, ticketing, knowledge management and collaboration solutions. These solutions are developed and maintained in the tribe of Global engineering. We are looking for a Product Owner for both the ServiceNow HR squad who implements the new HR module in ServiceNow as well as the Knowledge & Collaboration squad who maintains collaboration tools such as Confluence and OrangeSharing.

Job Description

As a Product Owner, you will be accountable for maximizing the value the squad delivers via a product vision, release strategy and Product Backlog. You will represent all stakeholders under the accountability of the Tribe Lead. You are the person who sees the vision through to completion, including Features and User Stories, collaborating and communicating with the Squad(s), accepting or rejecting work results and steering the product goals by tracking and forecasting its progress. You will manage the Product Backlog items, allocated to both changing and running.

Key Responsibilities

• (Co)Develops and communicates the product vision
• Ensures product delivery with the highest business value
• Ensures that the Squad builds and maintains the right product
• Takes all other stakeholders’ requirements into account when prioritizing, prioritization is based on adding business value
• Motivates the Squad towards the product vision
• Maintains the Product Backlog for change as well as run backlog items
• Refines and prioritizes the Product Backlog continually together with stakeholders and the Squad
• In case of conflicts with/between stakeholders on Timelines, Budget or Functionality, escalates to Tribe Lead/Asset Owner
• Manages the Product Backlog on the level of User Stories, derived from Features (may manage also Epics/Features if Tribe Lead/Asset Owner has allocated such tasks to Product Owner)
• Identifies, mitigates, escalates and monitors Delivery- and Result risk  (along with other roles)
• Support squad through effective knowledgesharing and resource usage, promoting the One Agile Way of Working culture

Your backpack ideally contains

• A Master degree
• Experience in SAAS (platform) solutions
• Experience in configuring COTS (Commercial of the Shelf) accounting applications
• Experience in working in a DevOps team in a similar environment
• Experience in working as a Product Owner Agile/scrum
• Experience in working in an international environment, virtual teams
• Risk awareness, understanding of security concepts

A salary matching scale 10-11 based on experience and expertise

A 36 to 40 hour work week

13th month

Your workplace will be Amsterdam (but prepare to travel ad-hoc if needed)
