DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with Python for our Amsterdam office to make the team even stronger.

The purpose of this position is to implement automated test cases in support of the integration and acceptance testing of the product releases.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and implementing framework libraries to support test automation scripts and validating execution reliability
• Responsible for issue resolution, related to framework library quality
• Code review and quality assurance of code commits by team members
• Extensive cooperation with (internal and external) technology suppliers during integration, triaging and resolving issues associated with the development, maintenance and use of the automated test suite
• As required, support the definition, installation, and maintenance of test equipment and systems

Requirements

• Ideal candidate must have experience with at least the first 4 requirements:
  • DOCSIS Cable Modem CPE’s
  • Network configurations
  • Software integration and testing
  • Python software development
  • Experience with DOCSIS and Gateways
  • Experience with WiFi
  • Experience with VOIP
  • Exposure to agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with GIT / GERRIT
• Soft Skills:
  • Must be willing and able to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and technologies
  • Should have good interpersonal skills, to maintain and develop effective working relationships with other peers
  • Must have good problem-solving skills and attention for detail
  • Must be able to work under pressure and be prepared to work outside normal working hours when necessary
  • Must be proactive, with a desire to continuously improve system solutions, documentation and processes and procedures
  • Fluent in writing and speaking English
