Real Estate Finance (REF) is a part of ING that manages commercial real estate loans. One of the systems used for this is SAP. The SAP functional and technical application management is carried out by the DevOps team in Amsterdam. As a SAP Business Intelligence / Business Warehouse Senior DevOps Engineer, with over 10 years experience,  you will have in depth experience of reporting out of the SAP BW to end users and sending data via flat files to dependent systems. In this role, you will make an active contribution to the daily development of the SAP support team.

You work  small to large changes on a daily basis and sometimes on incidents. You have experience with SAP upgrades. Supporting the upgrading of the existing system and testing of the reports after the upgrades will be a part of your shop. You have a proven track record of working with BW in the context of a variety of functional areas.

In addition to support for changes and disruptions, risk & security guidelines become an important part of your work. You have knowledge of this issue, you can come up with solutions and you know how to communicate with risk management departments within ING. Knowledge about SOX, IT Risk Management (access mgt, password vault, access checks, penetration test, Uat, Fat etc.), compliancy rules, Pipelines. Knowledge of ING risk & compliance policies is an advantage are an advantage.

How to succeed

• At least 10 years of experience with SAP BW Development, BI and Support

• SAP BW 7.5 Version (with SQL Server), design and maintaining BW Objects, Data Extraction from SAP Source Systems and Connected Systems, Performance tuning of the Reports and Data Loads, Root Cause Analysis, Use of APD’s for extraction. Mainly SAP FS-CML and SAP FS-CMS.

• Very good knowledge of SAP Life Cycle and Test Cycle of the BI Objects (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing and UAT)

•  Transporting of the objects and troubleshooting the transport errors.

• Identifying the Data Quality gaps and preparing a plan to close the Data Quality gaps.

• SAP BI Reporting – BEx Analyzer, Bex Web Reporting, Bex Analyzer and Web Application designer. 

• Experience with warehouse modelling, transformations, routines, DTPs.

• Process Chain design and optimization.

• Experience integrating SAP source systems to BW including custom data sources.

• SCRUM / DEVOPS / Agile way of working

Would be a good addition if you know:

• SAP ABAP

• SAP Upgrades

• SAP HANA

• Banking, Real Estate Financing and regulators

• Risk & security guidelines: SOX, IT Risk Management (access management, password vault, access checks, penetration test, Uat, Fat etc.), compliancy rules, pipelines.
