Therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic DevOps Engineer supporting the Webservices (Tomcat/WebSphere/JBoss/Apache/JAVA) Infrastructure team in offering the best services to both our business and private customers.

About us:

Your working environment: Tech Infra Cloud

You’ll be working on providing a Java application platform based on Tomcat, JBoss and IBM WebSphere, but also Apache as an Webserver platform. You’ll be building and maintaining the global ING Tomcat, WebSphere Application Server, JBoss and Apache httpd solutions written in Ansible. Soon your infra code will be used across the globe. You will be actively driving the quality of the delivery of services, and taking every opportunity to automate and eliminate manual labor.

How to succeed

• 5+ years of Experience as a DevOps Web Engineer
• Well versed in GIT/GITLAB and CD/CI tools and pipeline
• Good knowledge of WebSphere Application Server, JBoss and Tomcat
• Good knowledge of automatic testing
• Linux RHEL experience
• Scripting experience with e.g ksh, bash, Jython, Jacl, Python
• Exposure of Virtualization / Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of Configuration Management tools like Ansible

Your education and background

• At least Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology
• Expert in the Web Technology environment
• Experience with working in high performing Agile IT teams
• Certifications and/or proven proficiency in one or more technologies requested
• Good understanding of English (and preferable Dutch as well)
