As an application specialist Atlassian you will be tasked with the functional administration of Jira and confluence where we also support the agile tooling of the entire organization. As such, you will know all the ins- and outs of the agile tooling and processes. You will also support functional administration of some of the IT4IT tooling within Aegon. We are defining and setting up Continuous Delivery practices and techniques so that they are available for use by Aegon’s value teams (software delivery teams). You will involve in Communities of Practices for various disciplines existing across the Aegon IT organization.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• You analyze the requirements of our (internal) clients and pick up on the user stories for implementation

• You implement the software that we enable in our Software Factory and the Agile tooling

• You are responsible for building the integrations and interfaces

• You understand the influence of your work on the already existing tooling and you are able to make an assessment of the risk of changes made in our software

• You support the end users in a professional way

• have a degree on a higher vocational or University level, preferably within Information Technology;

• have proven knowledge of the Atlassian toolset (JIRA, Confluence) and Azure DevOps;

• have solid experience with executing IT controls. Security and least privilege access are always top of mind;

• have gained experience in working in a Scrum environment, we follow the SAFe model;

• are looking for position that requires pro-activity, seniority and a solid backbone

• have an ambition to be a trusted business partner who is able to communicate with both the business, as well as a variety of more technically focused colleagues.

• You will be earning between € 3176 and € 5294 based on 40 hours per week

• You will also receive a thirteenth month and a holiday allowance in the form of a monthly flex budget, amounting to 16.7% of your monthly salary
