UX design internship in ING Innovation Lab Amsterdam

We’re looking for talented designers to join our international team for a 6-months internship. This will be an opportunity to bring your own unique perspective as a student, together with your creativity, academic knowledge, technical skills, and enthusiasm, to help us bring innovation to the next level.  

Where will you work during the internship?

Due to the Covid pandemic, major part of your internship will be remote working. We will ask you to join the projects in Amsterdam and working in CET time zone.  

What are your main challenges?

• Work together with initiatives through complex problems and define appropriate solutions

• Proactively support initiatives for UX design with user-centric approach

• Conduct usability testing and design experiments together with UX/service designers

• Gather qualitative and quantitative insights and translate them into actionable recommendations

• Assist the initiatives for branding and digital marketing work

Who are you?

• You must be a registered student throughout the entire period of your internship

• You must be either an EU national or a non-EU national enrolled in an educational institution in the Netherlands

• Working from abroad is not permitted.

• You are pursuing the last year of your bachelor or preferably master studies

• You must be available at least 6 months

• Experience with design and prototyping software, like Sketch, InVision, Principle and Figma

• Experience with web and mobile design

• Experience with communication design and branding

• Solid understanding of wireframing and prototyping

• Basic understanding about service design and UX research methodologies

• Strong English communication skill is a must.

• You can work independently and have a strong drive for getting things done

• You are a strong team player and eager to learn with different design disciplines.
