UX Internship in Amsterdam

Although we have offices located in multiple countries, you will be working at our HQ-office in Amsterdam. The building is located at the Amsteldijk which means Bootcamp sessions in the park next door, swimming during lunch breaks on hot days and a nice bike ride to work every day on your very own Swapfiets!

What will I be doing?
Good question! You will join our Digital product team on the Operations domain, responsible for our internal products. With your team, you create solutions for our 1500+ colleagues who use these products for delivering excellent service. You will be directly responsible for changes to our products. In order to make you succeed, you will receive a lot of autonomy in the team, but will be guided by more experienced colleagues whenever necessary.

What skills do I need?
You are the perfect combination of a user research expert and a business analyst, you can create flawless design systems from scratch, are a leading authority in the graphic design field and have previously coded more than a dozen apps.

You are very interested in the above but know just enough of everything -- No worries! To work here you will first and foremost need to have a sharp, analytical mindset and an affinity for digital product design. It’s your job to figure out what information users need and what the best way is to provide that information for them. Ideally, you already know all the tools necessary to communicate your elegant solutions to both our end-users and your team. We would like you to have experience in creating flowcharts, wireframes and interactive prototypes, but it’s okay if all these skills are a work in progress.

You will be a member of the 20(ish) person strong Digital group, a very open-minded, professional group of people that likes to hear fresh ideas - both good and bad. You will learn what it’s like to work in a dynamic company and bring new ideas from concept to implementation. You will be pushed to develop your skills to the next level and will be given guidance and support whenever necessary.
