What impact will you make?

Business Relationship Manager Lead is responsible for the BRM team that has a key role in partnering with the lines of business to ensure IT strategy aligns with the business strategy and IT services enabled business services.

As a BRM Lead you have the responsibility to facilitate your team and thereby our internal customers with an IT solution that is required to reach their goals. You will monitor the relations of the Business Relation team and the key IT stakeholders. You will also monitor the need for new IT services and that both the business’s strategic goals and operational deliverables are met. You will make sure that IT is seen as an effective partner and enabler.

This is how
  • promote IT to the business and educating IT on the needs, requirements and drivers of the business;
  • responsible for ensuring the BRM team’s understanding of business direction and the shaping of IT solutions to match this direction;
  • play a lead role in the development of the IT strategy which reacts to and supports the wider Deloitte strategy, and regularly updated line of business strategies;
  • be fully aware and comfortable with the assigned line of business strategy;
  • responsible for meeting expectation of services, reflected in service definition, scope and formal agreements;
  • develop roadmaps for the line of business and manage and prioritize demand in liaison with business CTO en business stakeholders;
  • ensure escalations from the business are effectively managed by the team;
  • create a vision that contributes to the ongoing development of the strategic direction of Business Relation Management;
  • lead the BRM team in collaborating with the Enterprise Architects and global teams to ensure IT roadmaps align to business needs;
  • monitor the BRM team in gathering and shaping business requirements in collaboration with the business and Business Analysis team to clarify and refine these;
  • coordinate the meetings with the CTO’s of the business units from Deloitte;
  • ensure the well-being of the people in your team and guide them in their accountability for delivering quality to the business;

What you offer

As a BRM Lead, you should have the following skills and competencies:

  • demonstrated leadership experience with account management;
  • a high customer-focused (commercial) approach;
  • able to deliver a difficult message with diplomacy. You are confident and not afraid to share your opinion;
  • knowledge of IT -services and digital technologies;
  • mastery in Business Administration or IT;
  • experience with one or more IT Governance Frameworks: MOF, COBIT or ITIL;
  • knowledge of software - and front-end development;
  • a shared responsibility for the local IT budget and cost sharing arrangements;
  • contribute to the development of the IT strategy in order to identify change needs and associated customer and commercial benefits;
  • feed the Demand & Portfolio Management process with local demand supporting the business roadmap, using this process and effective collaboration with other ITS Country Leaders to identify opportunities for sharing best practice and solution;
  • excellent command of Dutch and English, oral and written;
  • understanding the situation, and knowing how to accommodate the needs of the client within the parameters policy;
  • Identify potential service improvement opportunities and work proactively with the Business and IT teams to action them;
  • conducting performance reviews of shared services and providing feedback on service improvement opportunities.
