As a Digitial Innovation Intern you will support one of our ventures along their innovation journey, with particular emphasis on Customer Discovery, Problem Identification and Solution Ideation. This includes amongst others qualitative research on Value Added Services, experimenting for validation, as well as trend & marketing analysis, stakeholder management and facilitating meetings. Within these three months you will be part of an entire ''explore'' process in which the team will be researching, analyzing, and designing the most promising, suitable and desirable value propositions to help the start up sclae. As you will be working on one of the bank's newest business propositions, you can definitely help make impact!

What you will learn:

• You will become familiar with our innovation methodology, through which we launch new start up ideas within a corporate start up environment.
• You will help structure, set up and deploy online and offline experiments aimed at maximizing learning from customer research.
• You will help perform company & market research to find trends and patterns in the venture's point of field.
• You will learn to set up continuous learning loops based on the lean start up methodology (Build-Measure-Lean).
• You will learn to interact with and manage internal and external stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
• You will gain familiarity with digital business model innovation in the financial sector.
• You will be fully onboarded and deployed as one of the team members and expected to create real value for this venture.

Your daily tasks will include:

• B2C outreach activities. Engaging with the target audience via traditional online channels (social media, online communities, etc.) and the current client bases.
• Conducting and analysing customer interviews with the aim of generating clear business opportunities, by delivering clear, concise and actionable reports.
• Drafting, analysing and summarizing quantitative research (questionnaires) within easy to digest Excel formats.
• Creating PowerPoint presentations, reviewing documents and scheduling meetings.
• Setting up and help facilitate (online) meetings with clients and customers to identify needs and pain points in the current product offering. With that, creating e.g. Customer Journeys/Service Blueprints to (visually) pinpoint where and what to change.

You will be working in one of the teams within the Digital Platforms theme of Group Innovation, a dedicated innovation linr within Innovation & Technology.

The theme of Digital Platforms consists of a portfolio of ventures at different stages of maturity. Each venture typically is staffed by a combination of Intrapreneurs with a background in banking and Innovation Managers with a background in innovation and start-ups.

• You are preferably a WO MSc student enrolled at a Dutch university. However, if you are a highly motivated WO Bsc and HBO Bsc, feel free to apply.
• You are enrolled at university for the entire duration of the internship.
• Your study covers Business, Innovation Management, Marketing, Strategic Design. With an interest in Lean start up, Design Thinking, Digital Economy, Growth Hacking, Service Design, Platformization.
• You can work with Excel and PowerPoint. It’s a plus if you have affinity with Adobe CC.
• You can start now.
• You are available for 3 months minimum. Extending is possible.

Dutch and English speaker:

• you have an excellent level in the languages (spoken and written is crucial).
