Scrum Master Digital Processing in Amstelveen

You work with several DevOps teams that are for responsible for the development and maintenance of software to automate and support business processes. Using Agile principles and methology you enable them to work effectively and efficiently and you stimulate them to continuously improve themselves.

As Scrum Master you are responsible for the optimum performance of your teams. You make sure there are no impediments holding the teams back and stimulate them to keep improving themselves. In liaison with the teams, you ensure a mature Scrum process within the teams.

The Scrum Master ensures the proper functioning of a scrum team, a process in which you need to weigh all the personal characteristics of the team members and the interests of the organisation. Your task is to serve the team and you remain focused on the optimum performance targets. You highlight problems and opportunities in the composition of the Block at an early stage and ensure good cooperation between all team members.

You are part of the Digital Processing Grid, within this Grid, business and IT work together and deliver value for our clients by rationalizing, optimizing and digitizing processes. We are an international and dynamic department that values diversity in skills and background. We currently consists of 4 DevOps teams and one value proposition team.

Our scrum teams consits of at least 6 IT Engineers. All teams are currently working from their home and communicate via Teams. Next year we foresee teams working part or the time from home and part of the time together from an office location.

In our organisation, the Scrum Master reports to the IT Engineering Lead, who in turn reports to the IT Delivery Lead.

You ideally have the following background:

Proficient in English

• Higher professional education (HBO) graduate or equivalent
• Five year's relevant work experience in a complex IT environment

More specifically, you have:
• Scrum Master accreditation (PSM 1)
• Knowledge of software development processes
• Affinity with the technical aspects of software development
• Knowledge of change rmanagement, servant leadership, coaching, conflict resolution, continuous improvement
• Knowledge of scaled Agile methods and procedures (Agile partnerships between several Scrum teams)
