… an experienced & passionate Conversion Optimisation Senior expert. AB testing is in your blood and in your value system. You are a firm believer in the principle that there is a difference between ‘what people say they do’ (as delivered by qualitative UX research) and ‘what people actually do. You know from experience that there is NO substitute for running an AB tests. You will rely on the expertise of your Design, UX and Product colleagues but you are at least equally passionate about getting data & the results only test can bring. You will ask “Did you test that & did you bring data!?” all day long. In this role you will partner with the global CoE lead of Conversion Optimisation and the different experts from the functional line across the ING retail business countries. Together you will create the fact based momentum we need to build experiences that are great from the perspective of the prospect, the customer and ING. You will take a key role in the field of Conversion Optimisation by being a global authority on Conversion Optimisation within digital channels for retail banking globally. You will passionately drive the impact of this practice across ING Retail.
Roles and responsibilities
You will work closely with the Global COE Lead for Conversion Optimisation to deliver business value;
Define the most valuable use-cases based on hypotheses, tests and results and drive implementation across ING’s Retail banking network.
Connect experts within the ING retail organisation to set priorities, experiment, develop best practices and roll those out across the organisation, following a build-measure-learn cycle.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include being a part of (locally executed) Conversion Optimisation projects. You will participate as a knowledgeable authority, but also taking the role of hands on support in the challenges at hand.
Take on an expert role of key topics of the CoE: Optimisation, Data, Tooling, Training. You will have the chance to develop into the ultimate expert among experts.
Represent ING externally and build global relationships/partnerships with thought leaders and experts to leverage external expertise.
Ensure dependable experiment data & results. You know how to validate well run experiments and you are able to develop and maintain engaging (internal) reporting and knowledge sharing on top of those experiment results.
Drive craftsmanship in the organisation to continuously develop the capabilities in relevant roles, among others with global training programs or other learning opportunities.
You will be the connector & focus point of a Global community helping to drive the impact of the practice of conversion optimisation across ING Retail.
You will have the opportunity to work on the full product portfolio of ING Retail in an international setting.
You will develop a strong central and international network of stakeholders and gain a broad insight in all ING Bank business units.
You will be part of the newly formed Global Retail Digital, Platforms & Customer Interaction department that will drive ING’s digital strategy and execution, working as the right hand of the Head of D&CI across the full breadth of the department that brings together best-in-class experts in the digital domain in the Global Head-Office team as well as across the Retail Banking Business Units.

You master the ins & outs of conversion optimisation, including behavioural science, data & statistics.
You hold a relevant Master’s degree, MBA is a plus
Experience with SEO Optimisation is a very big plus
Excellent level of English
