Java/C/Python Developer in Amsterdam

Description

We are currently looking for a senior/expert developer for our Authenticating Proxy Squad within the Tribe Tech\Touchpoint. The squad contains of 8 developers, 2 OPS and a PO. TouchPoint Architecture (TPA) is THE WAY for ING to be a truly global bank, and a key success factor on our path to become an international ecosystem that extends beyond banking.

The products our team delivers is the authentication proxy for all internet channels in The Netherlands and Belgium but also deliver various authentication components for all other ING countries within the Touchpoint Platform. These are a TokenAPI, Federated Identity Manager, API Gateway Configuration Service, API Gateway Controller Service and a more legacy authenticating applications. Furthermore we deliver security components which are re-used in the ING developer frameworks to verify users, extract user information and deliver safe  API to API communication.

Main responsibilities

• Design and develop new functionality for the ApiGateway, the TokenAPI and the other Authentication applications

• Add new functionality to the framework components based on Token technology (SAML2, OidC)

• Design and develop new functionality for the endpoint configuration request application

• Contribute in the code base of NGINX modules, used for access control

• Support more junior developers in creating better applications

About you

The successful candidate will be:

• Experienced C, Java and Python developer

• Experienced in developing code using asynchronous and event-based programming in C

• Experienced in developing web applications in Spring/SpringBoot and other common opensource frameworks

• Strong preference for an experienced developer that built native nginx modules in the past

• Good knowledge of crypto, oAuth, OidC and SAML

• Experience in developing front-ends in Lit-HTML

• Working knowledge with Git, Docker and Maven

• Have a good knowledge in delivering high-performance and 0-downtime applications
