We are looking for a Feature Engineer / Technical Business Analyst with a drive to create global, scalable services within the ING Touchpoint Platform that enables ING to become a truly global bank.

Touchpoint Platform is part-of ING’s “Think Forward” strategy to become one truly global bank and is a key success factor on our path to become a financial services platform that extends beyond banking. Through our platform, we provide a scalable foundation for platform business models and position ING successfully in the new banking ecosystem.

One of the core products in this platform is our “Approval and Consent” solution that enables our customers to sign and approve any transaction done in any digital channel in a seamless way. This solution is integrated by several ING departments and internal consumers in their online solutions in the different countries, like the mobile and web banking apps for retail, SME and corporate wholesale banking clients.

This is what you will do

As a Technical Business Analyst for the “Approval and Consent” product, you will be responsible for analyzing and refining the more complex new business requirements together with the Product Owner, consumers and the squads that develop the product.

The squads that you will be working with are located in Amsterdam and Bucharest and are part of the “One Gate” product area which covers the total authentication and approval product suite of the Touchpoint platform. Together with the other squads within the product area you strive to provide uniform authentication and security service’s across ING to safeguard the trust with our customers.

You will work with multi-disciplinary squads, architects, designers and developers. You are the go-to person for refining new and complex product features and maintain a close relationship with the Area Product Owner, peers, users, security specialists, and other stakeholders.

Your personal “backpack” should contain:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as (technical) business analyst for innovative products in a technology environment
• Experience and functional knowledge in the authentication, approval and security domain within digital channels
• Be able to listen to our consumers, understand their needs and find elegant and simple solutions to develop new product features
• Be able to communicate on a business and technical level, and bridging the gap between both
• Technical understanding of different levels of abstraction and systems you will be building
• Work together with the engineering squad(s) to determine the best technical solution
• Document the new features, create data models, sequence diagrams and other visuals to help consumers use the new product features in their web and mobile solutions
• Always want to learn and grow, never hesitate to tackle things hands-on to make it happen
• Agile experience
