Fulltime ICT Support at a merchant in Amsterdam

What are you going to do:

As an ICT Support you are the point of contact about workspaces, telephony, printers and office applications. You help your colleagues in Amsterdam to solve questions and issues. Furthermore you will work together with your colleagues from the ICT department in Paris to maintain the IT infrastructure, network and workspaces. Finally, they could really use your help on a number of small projects that should lead to an improvement of their work processes/infrastructure. The environment in which you will be working is international, with English as the main language. You have to be able to work independently. You will immediately be 'on the road' within the organization to provide support.

Where are you starting?

You're starting at a global trader in green coffee. It is headquartered in Amsterdam, from where it trades coffee from Africa, Asia and South America. The company is a part of a group, which is an independent leader in soft commodity trading. These include products such as sugar, cocoa, coffee, ethanol, but also maritime transport and futures/options brokerage.
Your new workplace has local offices in: India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Colombia and Brazil. Here mainly the sourcing and sorting of beans takes place.
In addition, there is a subsidiary in North America to serve the American market. market. In the Amsterdam office, 23 people work on: Logistics, Finance, Trading, Quality (QA), Sustainability (CSR) and general management.
