Webservices Infrastructure DevOps Engineer in Amsterdam

ING Tech Infra / Cloud / IAAS is looking for a DevOps engineer with knowledge of modelling, offering and maintaining LINUX webservers.

Do you have an extensive knowledge of Tomcat, Apache, JBoss and / or WebSphere? In that case we are looking for you!

Besides of that we are working towards a future in which (almost) everything is automated. Infrastructure as code is one of the most important steps we’re taking right now. Ansible / AWX has no secrets for you but also other automation script languages are what you are keen on.

Competencies and capabilities we are looking for are:

• Configuration management with Ansible;
• Automation and pipeline building knowledge with Azure DevOps and Git/Gitlab;
• Automated technical and functional testing;
• Red Hat Linux RHEL experience;
• Scripting experience;
• Exposure knowledge of virtualization / cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP;
• Agile knowledge, preferably with SCRUM.

Furthermore you:

• Have experience working in a complex, regulated environment such as a large financial institution;
• Have experience designing, building, running, and maintaining APIs and services;
• Are able to work on different abstraction levels;
• Are not afraid to dive into details when needed;
• Are fluent in English speaking and writing and a good communicator in general;
• Have a Growth mind-set and develop this in others;
• Are able to bring all ideas/opinions to one conclusion to help make decisions;
• Are up to date with new technologies and have a deep understanding of when to use it;
• Are humble in approach and not afraid to be wrong;
• Are proud of what you do and enjoy sharing this with your external network;
• Are professional and you have intellectual IT ability at university level - at least Bachelor's degree.
