Job Description ING is looking for Software Engineer for Group Finance Reporting System We strongly believe engineering is a craft. We want to help you develop yourself, get better at what you do, and be proud of the value you bring.

How are we organized? Group Finance Reporting System (GFRS) chapter is positioned within Statutory & Regulatory Reporting tribe and is primarily focused on delivering change in GFRS application. GFRS is an Oracle based financial data warehouse written in PL/SQL. On top of that, we use technologies such as Drools and Kafka to extract the business logic. We work together with Business Analysts to design, develop and deliver suitable IT solutions to ensure that the business requirements of our Risk and Finance stakeholders are met. As a Dev Engineer you will be part of the  GFRS chapter.

Who are you? We are looking for a proficient Software Engineer to strengthen the team and bring it to the next level. We're looking for people who want to continuously improve, develop themselves and learn not only technologies, but also the business. If you're curious about the world of finance, interested in working closely with data, and want to take part in a major transformation of one of the key systems in the bank, we'd love to work with you.

Your profile Required skills, knowledge and experience Generic capabilities/soft skills: - Team player - Drive to improve - Good communicator, pro-active, sharing knowledge - Strong analytical skills - Agile mindset Must-haves: - Proficiency with Object Oriented Language(s) - SQL fluency - Experience with TDD, Continuous Integration / Delivery - Financial services (preferably banking) knowledge and experience - Bachelor in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics Nice-to-haves: - Familiarity with Drools framework - Java proficiency - Understanding of financial products, regulatory reporting, financial accounting
