We are looking for an IT Management Consultant in the Process & Organization team of the Generic Support department of ING Tech / Group Services.
ING Tech supports all commercial activities for retail and commercial banking as well as corporate staff by providing the necessary IT systems and infrastructure to do this. Group Services is one of the Tech domains and supports corporate staff such as Finance, Risk, HR, Corporate Communications and Procurement. Group Services is changing into a global organization, supporting the services of the bank that are offered bank wide such as e.g., KYC, Enterprise Content Services, Global Data Services, etc.
As Generic Support we provide support services for our colleagues to enable them to accelerate their delivery to our business partners. We do this by being experts in the support processes that are needed to deliver an IT service and to keep ING a trusted, safe and secure bank. Because we believe that with our expertise the work is done better, faster, in a consistent and controlled manner. Improving this flow in delivery offers our colleagues the possibility to focus on applying their core engineering skills.
Who are you?
You are a proactive, supportive IT Management Consultant who can oversee the big picture of the Group Services organization and the supporting processes. At the same time, you have a hands-on mentality and want to know the details. To keep the Administrative Organization solid and consistent is in your DNA.
You have a strong affinity with Human Resource Management and understand that processes are still valuable in an Agile way of working.
You bring positive energy to the team and have very good social and communication skills. You are a role model of the ING Orange Code:
What will you do?
You will have two focus areas.
First, you will act as a `trusted advisor` in organizational matters. You keep track on organizational changes (e.g., new managers) by aligning with the managers of Group Services. You participate in preparing RFA’s and information memos with a focus on the organizational structure and employee profiles.
You ensure that all necessary administrative changes are processed timely and correctly and communicated to relevant stakeholders. You guard the employee profiles within Group Services and support managers in solving issues.
Second, you guard and optimize the Group Services Process Framework and the governance around it. You align with GS Process Owners and challenge them to keep the processes up to date and to align with Tech and/or Enterprise Process Owners. Processes should follow our way of working and make our work easier (process with a purpose). You perform quality reviews on (local) process designs and model these designs in ARIS. You keep track on changes within the framework and document this in a traceable way.
