The GDPP Functional Application Expert (FAE) will be accountable for day-to-day application, administration, support and maintenance of ING Process Management System, ARIS GDPP as a structural GDPR driven Solution.
As part of CDMO Data Protection, the FAE ensures the functional day-to-day support, administration and maintenance of GDPP in ARIS. Organizationally and hierarchically the FAE is located in the Data Protection department of CDMO.
The GDPP FAE has deep knowledge of the GDPP Process Framework and Process Architecture. The GDPP FAE manages the GDPP Framework configuration and deployment in ARIS, this means responsibility for ARIS Filter and Template management where it concerns GDPP. They make sure requirements are translated to the application design, prerequisite skills include strong administrative skills and basic knowledge of ARIS scripting languages. The GDPP FAE delivers this with excellent communications to main stakeholders.
The GDPP FAE is the single point of contact for GDPP ARIS issues internally, main responsibility is to solve these issues and give advice on a sustainable solution. The GDPP FAE gives proactive advice on using ARIS functionalities to support the GDPP reference framework. They support by further developing the application to come to surplus business value.
The GDPP FAE works in close collaboration with the GDPP Global Administrator with regard to prioritization of GDPP stories and performing the role of Release Manager for new GDPP releases.
Key Tasks
ARIS GDPP Administration
Guides Ops for the maintenance and management of ARIS databases where GDPP is implemented
Guides Ops for the creation of new databases when needed
Creates and maintains Queries
Is responsible for ARIS filter and template management where it concerns GDPP
Advises on ARIS GDPP configuration before these are moved to production and also performs necessary tests (FAT) and organises the User Acceptance Tests
Acts on ARIS GDPP questions/problems/requests sent to Vendor support centre (Software AG) or forwards them in close collaboration with the ARIS Service Manager
Has system privileges and can access all ARIS functionality on Acceptance
Supports on Quality Assurance of GDPP related content rules and guidelines
ARIS GDPP User and Licence Management
Be end responsible for a compliant execution of the minimum standards and all internal and external regulations around GDPP user and license management. Guides OPS in the daily execution.
Sets internal standards and works out internal processes for GDPP user and license management
Accountable for maintenance (add/delete) of GDPP users into the various ARIS databases, executed by OPS
Accountable for maintenance GDPP users and user groups executed by OPS
Accountable for identifying GDPP user groups and maintenance of user privileges for the GDPP user groups executed by OPS
Accountable for the execution by OPS of SOLL/IST comparison and the signoff by the Local Admins
SPOC for audits and KCT on ARIS GDPP
ARIS Application Development
Performs functional impact analysis for new ARIS GDPP functionalities and changes
Translates GDPP requirements into ARIS application design requirements
Test management: maintains GDPP test scenarios, develops and maintains re-usable test cases
Develops, tests and implements GDPP enhancements as requested
Will act as a Feature Owner for different capabilities within the ARIS platform for GDPP including bringing new GDPP features to production
ARIS Application Maintenance
Risk & Compliance: gathers functional GDPP risk evidence material on request of OPS
Incident management: performs incident investigation activities according to ITSM processes
Incident management: provides functional application support and incident resolution for GDPP ARIS modules
Problem management: runs and performs root cause analysis for recurring GDPP incidents

Prerequisite Skills & Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
Basic IT background preferred
Knowledge of ITSM Processes
Knowledge of and experience in Agile way of work (Agile scrum)
Deep knowledge of Reference Framework
Experience as administrator of ARIS (both Connect and Architect)
